  • Days' Rest are FULL days rest  starting the day FOLLOWING the game (i.e. if a 10 year old pitches 66+ pitches on Monday, they are not eligible to pitch again until Saturday).
  • No pitcher shall appear in a game as a pitcher for three consecutive days, regardless of pitch count. If a pitcher has the available pitches, a pitcher could pitch in two (2) games in a day. (e.g. If a 10 year old throws 15 pitches Monday and 15 pitches Tuesday, they are not eligible to pitch Wednesday.)
  • Pitchers reaching their maximum number of pitches in a day, while pitching to a batter, may finish pitching to that batter beore being removed. A pitcher is charged with the number of pitches in the specific calendar day and week in which they are pitched, regardless of whether they are regular season, the playoff of postponed games or suspended games, tie games, or exhibition games.
  • The total number of pitches shall be recorded on the Tournament Record form.
  • Recommend the use of electronic scoring devices at all levels to help ensure an accurate pitch count.
